2. So, who "graduated" to EVE Online from Elite on the C-64??... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Holy smokes. Elite. Still have the box set in the loft. I was a BBC Model B micro fanboi back in the day and spent many isolated hours on that game. My first machine was a Video Genie E3003 which was a TRS-80 clone. You want to hear sad? This is ...

Imperator Jora'h, I have experienced the same issue in the Lonetrek region and raised a petition asking if spawning rules on these kind of sites had changed post rev II. The reply was that there has been no change. Basically, all I get is Unknow...

7. Returning to UK after 4 years for a while. Anything to watch out for? - in Out of Pod Experience [original thread]
Edited by: nim TsuNim on 10/05/2007 07:48:47 It is now an offence to protest within an exclusion zone of the Houses of Parliament without prior written permission from the police. This zone extends about a mile I think. Protests include wearin...

8. New Staff, New Blog, New Information on Encounters! - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
El'essar, yes, not being deadspace makes a great deal of sense. Thinking about it it's essential that the new asteroid fields are not deadspace. For instance, MWD should continue to work in them.

9. New Staff, New Blog, New Information on Encounters! - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Edited by: nim TsuNim on 30/04/2007 09:56:54 Currently the way Gravimetric signatures (asteroid fields) are scanned down using exploration is relatively simple. Multispectral tells you something is there. Then you lay your Gravimetric Quests i...

10. Two Accounts? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I run from two copies AND I make sure that sound is turned off on one of the instances. My machine crashes if they both run with sound with a furious blue screen.

Edited by: nim TsuNim on 18/04/2007 08:52:17 I don't think the hacking skill and the codebreaker I are able to open secure containers. The skill and the device are for special cans in missions, complexes, cosmos stuff. The only way I know of ...

William, are you saying that ctrl->tab removes the anchored cargo containers? If so then thanks for sharing, that's great news. It'll be great to warp into a belt and see only transient unanchored stuff.

Originally by: Pirlouit ....also remember dont fly ships that you can not afford to lose. Quite right, I think that bit of advice is far more sensible than always insuring your ship. Sometimes the sums just don't add up.
